Negative: We got instructions for how to get into the building but we were unable to get into the apartment, the phone numbers provided did not work. We were told we had not paid the deposit but even once we had done that we could not get access to the property. We did message an annoying bot which kept telling us it would get someone to help us but help never came. We called bookings.com who eventually cancelled the booking and we went somewhere else.. thankfully we did get our money returned but it was an unpleasant and stressful way to spend our first 4 hours in Nottingham.

Positive: Location and decor Negative: Air con only worked in one bedroom. No blinds on the skylights so very bright, smell from the nearby food shop extractor

Appalling communication and no real person was available. Positive: The property was clean. Negative: I’m very disappointed in the property’s communication system. The fire alarm went off twice at 5am and 8am. We were stood outside for 45mins trying to get hold of the building manager. The phone number and text message they provided us went straight to a robot, and could not reach a real person at all. Even the fire brigade was struggling to get hold of anyone so we ended up going back in the building with the alarm still going off 45mins later. The text messages were also not connected to a real person so we were hopeless. Another thing is the noise from the outside was disruptive both night and early morning. You could clearly hear the music and people in the streets at night. There’s also a skylight without any blinds so we got woken up from the light coming through in the morning.
