Modern Spacious Studio in Beeston

Excellent location and potential to be a fantastic place to stay but needs some upgrading Positive: Location was fantastic for access to the city via tram or bus, and with local eateries and shops nearby. The ensuite bedroom and shared kitchen/lounge meant we could chat with friends. Fridge for milk and breakfast facilities. Negative: On arrival, it is self check-in, which is fine as we had the codes but there was no floor plans at the entrance so you knew where your apartment was, and it took some time to find. Toilet seats in both ours and our friends room were semi-broken. There was no bin in one bathroom for females to dispose of sanitary products. Floor to ceiling windows that did not open in bedroom which meant the rooms were furnaces. No instructions to operate aircon and aircon was highly inefficient and kept turning itself off so very disturbed sleep due to heat in room. Mattresses in both rooms needing replacing. Hosts did not answer the phone calls on arrival regarding parking as none of the IT links worked that were emailed.

It was very good value and a great location for transport Positive: The location and the price. The bed and shower were both very good. Although I had no need of them, the lounges and kitchen and laundry were well equipped and maintained. Negative: The TV could have worked( although not a big issue for me) Decor of room a little tired Room got quite hot, pity no air con just a vent axial - but the weather was especially hot

Location great. Room too hot & door an issue. Positive: The location is great as is the value for money & communication pre stay. The Booking.com process has been updated so now a lot easier to check in before arrival. The room I stayed in was perfect for one person with a good sized shower room. Negative: It's the first time I've stayed in the rooms accessed through the shared kitchen. My room door did not fully open as there was a raised tile preventing this, you had to manoeuvre around the door. This was n't easy on crutches (as I was) or with wide baggage or in the event you needed to get out of the room in an emergency. The room was really hot, there was a fan but it sounded like a cement mixer & I was sensitive to disturbing adjoining rooms. Still no bins in the room, the bin in the kitchen is always spilling over (I know to take my own bag now for rubbish). A recycling bin in the kitchen would be a suggestion.

Lack of Parking would’ve made to stay even better, but saying that everything was good. Positive: Everything was just as it should be. Clean and tidy. Just as I had expected. Negative: It was a little cramped for 2 but I knew that so it’s not too much of a problem
